//York Wedding Photography// Oh how I love a Christmas wedding! December is always such an exciting time of year and spending Christmas Eve Eve with Becci and Dave at their gorgeous, festive wedding in York was an absolute treat. Having attended high school with Becci (way back when!), I was totally honored when she contacted me to enquire about me shooting her wedding. I’m not sure I’ve seen her since we left school back in 2001 so we had LOTS of catching up to do. I spoke with Becci and Dave a few times leading up to their big day so I knew exactly what was going to be in store and they certainly didn’t disappoint.
I’ve visited York a few times over the years I’ve but never been lucky enough to shoot a wedding there so I couldn’t wait to get stuck in and make the most of my time there with this lovely pair. It was the perfect backdrop as we strolled through the busy streets and we did our best not to get lost in the ‘Harry Potter-esque’ alleys of The Shambles. Nestled right next to the impressive York minster was Becci and Dave’s church where they said their “I Do’s” and then we headed over to The Merchant Adveturers’ Hall which was very impressive indeed. I had an absolute ball at this wedding, as did everyone else and it was the perfect way to kick off my Christmas celebrations.
