I love a barn wedding, I love the countryside, I love DIY details and I love this couple! Holly and David let me join them in their wedding day last August and what an amazing day it was. On any wedding morning there are often nerves flying around and the odd emotional tear but this bride was the image of happiness and joy. All I saw all morning from Holly during her bridal prep was laughter, a few giggles and then lots more laughter. Her good vibes were contagious and certainly rubbed off on everyone .. there was not a ‘nerve’ in sight!

Tythe Barn in Oxfordshire set the scene for the day and with a quaint little church nestled just next door it made the perfect venue for them to tie the knot. If there’s one thing this venue can do … it’s to throw one hell of a wedding party. There was absolutely no holding back from any angle. Giant jenga was strewn about the lawns and the wedding guests kicked back and relaxed among some seriously beautiful gardens whilst indulging in ‘Afternoon-Tea-inspired’ canapes. YUM! If you’re considering organising a barn wedding I would seriously consider looking at the Tythe Barn in Oxfordshire. It’s a real beauty of a wedding venue … you absolutely won’t be disappointed that’s for sure!

And onto the lovely newlyweds, what can I say!? Holly and David are absolutely made for each other. They were radiant all day long (which you’d expect most Bride and Groom’s to be of course!) but they were 100%, totally and utterly head-over-heels in love with one another and it was an absolute pleasure taking their pictures. Their smiles radiated all day long and getting to share along in their special day was an absolute treat. Here’s just a teeny tiny snippet of how their wedding day went …
