//Tipi Wedding Photography// I’m currently in the midst of peak wedding season and so the editing is ‘piling’ somewhat which means blogging has taken a bit of a back seat of late. BUT … today I’ve set aside some time to bring you this delightful wedding; the tipi, festival themed wedding of Charlie and Matt. This wedding was an absolute delight to be a part of and I had a whole load of fun getting 100% involved in all the celebrations. Charlie is actually an old pal from my uni days so there were loads of familiar faces and LOTS of catching up to be done so I felt right at home.
Charlie and Matt are one cool couple. They planned a seriously epic wedding and I have to take my hats off to them after they had to move their wedding venue just one week before their big day as their first plan flooded. Sheeesh! That would be enough to tip some people over the edge but they weren’t deterred in the slightest and cracked on full steam ahead at a new venue. Alderford Lake provided the perfect spot for them to pitch up their big top tipi along with their festival-style huts, games and Argentian BBQ. There was a real entertainment factor injected into their wedding by the Master of Ceremonies. He surprised Charlie and Matt with a ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ style finale right after their first dance. It was pretty incredible to say the least and got everyone into the party vibe. This was one truly amazing wedding and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of!
