//Domaine De Valbonne Wedding Photography//. Where do I begin with putting into words just how incredible Sophie and Alex’s destination wedding was at Domaine De Valbonne? I met this lovely couple at their friends Sana and Tom’s wedding back in the summer of 2023. This meant they had an insight into how I worked on a wedding day. Sophie and Alex loved Sana and Tom’s wedding images so they got in touch about me potentially sharing along in their destination wedding in Provence. It would be a long weekend with pre wedding drinks on the Friday, the wedding day on the Saturday and a pool party on the Sunday. Of course, I jumped at this wonderful opportunity to spend a few days out in a stunning part of the picturesque French countryside with this gorgeous couple and their family and friends.
Domaine De Valbonne – The Wedding Day
Firstly, Sophie and Alex’s choice of venue was perfect. The stunning French estate of Domaine De Valbonne offers a charming mix of history, natural beauty and elegance. Nestled deep in the region of Provence, this venue is an historic property known for it’s stunning views, lush vineyards, olive groves and rustic stone architecture. It offers the perfect space for an outdoor ceremony under a canopy of trees, a multitude of places for guests to mingle during the drinks reception and an alfresco dining experience under fairy lights in the main courtyard for the wedding breakfast.
Beyond the most incredible backdrop, this whole wedding was simply stunning and such an honour to be a part of. The food, the wine, the music, the people, the overall vibe of this wedding was completely incredible from start to finish. I only wish we could do it all again. To Sophie and Alex, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your celebrations. From the pre drinks, to the wedding day itself and then followed by the pool party, it was all such a remarkable journey for me and one I will always treasure. I have made some friends for life in this beautiful couple.
