Documentary Wedding Photography
//Documentary Wedding Photography// And just like that another wedding season is done and dusted and, boy oh boy, what an INCREDIBLE season it was too. 2019 was brimming over with some seriously wonderful wedding moments. It’s always such a treat sitting down at the end of the year to go back through each and every frame and decide which stands out as a highlight. I truly love reliving my weddings all over again.
I always find it such a funny thing to call what I do my ‘job’. It’s not really my job you see; it’s so much more than that (as cheesy as that might sound). Being carefully selected by my couples to take part in one of the most important days of their lives is always such an honour. This year, in particular, I’ve rolled my sleeves up that bit higher, got that little bit closer to the action and have been completely invested in each and every wedding day. I give it my absolute all when I take part in a wedding day and I have so much fun doing so.
I’ve travelled the length and breadth of the UK this year and also had the wonderful opportunity of travelling overseas for two destination weddings. A Mediterannean wedding in Nice and a scorcher out in Santorini shooting the wedding of two of my closest pals. What an incredible journey my 2019 weddings took me on.
Working within the realms of documentary wedding photography, I think the frames chosen below capture the true essence of each and every wedding I took part in. I could have gone on and on with this round up post but I had to draw the line somewhere so here it is .. a little snippet of some of my favourite moments from last years amazing wedding season. 2020 .. I’m coming for you!
