Creative Wedding Photography – 2016 Round Up

//Creative Wedding Photography// What an absolutely cracking year 2016 was. It was a wedding season brimming over with colour, creativity, love and laughter. LOTS of laughter! At the end of every wedding season, getting to sit down and relive all the memories is an absolute treat and something I really enjoy doing. I make these memories, capture these fleeting moments for my couples but they are also my memories too. This year, I rolled up my sleeves and got that little bit closer, that little bit lower, that little bit higher. Creatively speaking I tried lots of different things and pushed boundaries where possible to ensure that my lovely couples were left with an awesome set of images that captured the true essence of their wedding days. Obviously, photography involves the making of still images but I really feel, looking back at this set of images, that they sing, they scream and they shout! For me, it’s the sound of laughter that shines through the most and people are what truly make a wedding day. The raw emotion and genuine love that flows through everyone never ceases to amaze me and I can honestly say that it rubs off. Seven years in to shooting weddings and this element of a wedding day is unfaltering and it’s this aspect of my ‘job’ that I love the most. Without wanting to sound cheesy, I just want to say a huge thank you to all of my lovely couples. Thank you for putting all your trust in me. Thank you for letting me ‘do my thing’. Thank you for letting me share along in your special days. I’ve loved every second!
