//Chelsea Wedding Photography// Now I am fully aware that things don’t always go according to plan on a wedding day but when the music to walk down the aisle didn’t play, the rings had been forgotten and the transport didn’t arrive to take their guests over to the venue this pair were as cool as cats! Alex and Kevin were incredible to say the least and I have a huge respect for them being able to keep their cool … they sure weren’t going to let anything get in their way of their big day. Especially when you take into account that they had travelled over 5,000 miles to tie the knot! Alex and Kevin first contacted me at the beginning of the year with the news that they were looking at hosting there wedding in central London. This was particularly exciting as they are born and bred Americans and so would be jetting over from Tucson, Arizona to say their “I do’s”. We chatted all things weddings via Skype and I loved the sound of their plans so you can imagine my utter delight when they asked if I would join them at their wedding. They are the sweetest couple and in order for me to get to know them even more they shared with me their Lacey & Suede blog. Reading through their posts, I quickly grasped that they are a fun-loving kinda couple that ooze style and have a keen eye for fashion – I knew for sure we were going to get on tremendously (and that we certainly did!). They already felt like old friends when I joined them on their big day. Chelsea Old Town Hall set the scene for the first part of their day and then we all headed over to The Imperial on the Kings Road in Chelsea for their reception where I joined all their guests for an amazing wedding feast. Alex and Kevin and their lovely family and friends made me feel every part a bit of their special day and for that I am hugely grateful.
