Kiah & Matt decided to host their wedding at three central Manchester wedding venues. Starting off at Whitworth Locke for bridal prep, then onto Manchester Registry Office for their ceremony and finally we ended up at the incredible Blackfriar pub (one of my faves for a Sunday dinner!). Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony or a lively evening reception, The Blackfriar venue adapts effortlessly to your vision.

Kiah and Matt welcomed their wedding guests into the tipi in the garden of The Black Friar for their drinks reception and buffet style wedding breakfast (which was delicious). The dancing moved from the tipi into the pub for lots more celebrating late into the evening.
A Mancunion Affair
Over my 16 years as a wedding photographer, I feel fortunate that my job has taken me to weddings far and wide. However, being a Mancunion born and bred, there is something very special about shooting a wedding in my home town. I know Manchester like the back of my hand and so when Kiah and Matt explained their intention to walk between venues through the streets of Manchester, I was overjoyed at the prospect.
