Growing up, I always knew I had a creative flare. I thrived at Art & Design throughout school, studied it A- Level and then chose to extend my passion for it throughout University. My real love for photography though came when I was given a free rein to explore the beauty of film photography, developing my own negatives and prints in the dark rooms. My Dad handed me his 35mm Pentax and I was off.
My insatiable desire to document my life through my collection of cameras extends beyond my personal love for photography and in 2010 I decided to set up my business as a creative wedding photographer; documenting the lives of others on such a momentous occassion.

Set up Amy B Photography
Having worked in the world of fashion photography, in 2010 I decided to take a leap of faith and leave that industry behind; deciding to set up my own business as a wedding photographer.
Little did I know then that I would find myself still working in the industry 15 years later. Always growing and developing my passion for what I do.
Moved to London
Having lived in Manchester all of my life, I decided to do something different whilst I had the chance so I upped sticks and moved to London.
Living and continuing to grow the business there for 6 years was the most incredible experience. I was presented with many exciting opportunites which have helped to develop and mould my business into what you see today.
I welcomed Stanley
Becoming a Mum has been the most rewarding (and challenging at times) things I’ve ever done. It has been extremely defining as both a woman and business owner.
After welcoming Stanley into the world, it was time to leave London and head back to the Manchester to be closer to family and friends (and free childcare!).
I welcomed Charlie
2020 brought with it a challenging time for everyone with the Covid pandemic. Not one to do things by halves, I thought I would add to the chaos by welcoming Charlie into the world.
He is perfect in every way and completes my little family of three. Together with my two beautiful boys we take on the world.
Presently ..
I live in South Manchester with my two sons and continue to thrive at what I do. My desire to explore my creative potential is ever growing and developing. I genuinely love what I do.
For now, I have many exciting wedding bookings ahead and look forward to sharing along in each and every one of them. Camera in-hand of course!
AN AUNTHENTIC APPROACH.
Who am I on a wedding day? I am your visual storyteller. Noticing the quiet, intimate moments between all the chaos a wedding day can bring whilst bringing my own creative flare to the table. I carefully consider how light, colour, framing and composition can all come together to make something quite beautiful whilst always prioritising the moment.
Creativity in wedding photography also involves adapting to unpredictable environments, thinking quickly and connecting with both the bride and groom and their guests too to help everyone feel comfortable in front of my camera which inevitably brings a level of authenticity.
