Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding
//Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding// Just over the water from me in Greenwich, what an absolute treat it was to shoot Charlotte and Jack’s Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding on Saturday. Having already shot Holly and Dan’s wedding at Trinity Buoy Wharf a few years back, I new exactly what this venue had in store for me. Needless to say, I’ve shot at many different wedding venues over the years and so I’ve become a bit of a venue ‘snob’. I have to say though that this venue goes down as one of my favourites in London. Trinity Buoy Wharf is a wedding photographer’s dream .. set in the heart of a kooky Urban landscape in the East India Docks, it offers an abundance of awesome colours, textures and backdrops to experiment with. The O2 makes for a pretty impressive backdrop too for your drinks reception. When Charlotte and Jack hired the venue it came as a blank canvas which meant they could got to town on making the space theirs. And they did so beautifully. They filled it full to the brim with their pretty DIY details, a personalised ‘make-shift’ bar, light bulb letters and festoon lighting. For me though, as much as I love to document all those finer details, it’s always about the couple and their wedding guests. What really counts at a wedding is the people. Weddings are such happy days and everyone rolled up their sleeves at Charlotte and Jack’s Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding and got well and truly stuck in. Including me!
To the lovely couple, thanks so much for having me. The sun shone, the skies were blue and the smiles were out in full force. There were so many amazing moments from this lovely couple’s wedding it was hard to know where to stop with their sneaky peek. Here’s just a teeny tiny snippet of what went down last Saturday at Trinity Buoy Wharf …
