//The Midland Hotel Wedding Photography// Born and bred in Manchester and having lived there most of my life, it amazes me that I’ve been shooting weddings for seven years and have never before shot a wedding at the infamous Midland Hotel right in the heart of the city centre. Until now that is! On Saturday I headed back to the North to shoot Rachel and Daryl’s city centre wedding. Rachel and I go back a long way as we studied at both college and university together so you can imagine my utter delight when she first contacted me to say she was looking at tying the knot and interested in bringing me on board to shoot her wedding. It was just like old times and felt so lovely to see so many familiar faces; it really didn’t feel like work at all! Their service took place at the beautiful St. Marks Church in Worsley and then we dashed past the match day traffic and scooted into Manchester to The Midland Hotel where the rest of their amazing day unfolded. Although the weather might have teased us to begin with, the raindrops certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits and it just about dried up enough for us to take a stroll around the outside of Central Library so that we could make the most of the lovely architecture Manchester has to offer. Their amazing wedding antics continued long into the night and Rachel and Daryl certainly know how to throw a party! Their evening celebrations were of epic proportions as you will see below. The Jagermeister flowed and their mates joined them on the dance floor to throw some shapes and party like they meant it. There was no holding back and I loved that I got to share along in every second! Thanks for having me guys ..
