I lived in Greenwich, London between 2011-2017 and loved every second. I soaked up the delights of living and working in the capital city and having run my wedding photography business from London for so many years I built up a strong portfolio of London weddings. I have too many to list but below should give you a tiny teaser of the sorts of weddings I shot whilst working as a London wedding photographer.
Kew Gardens, Hampton Court House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, Islington Metal Works, Devonshire Terrace and Hawksmoor Guildhall are just a few of my favourites. Being a London wedding photographer is a truly amazing thing. The city has SO much to offer and it provides an abundance of awesome wedding venues. I've had the pleasure of being a London wedding photographer many times over and it excites me everytime I receive another enquiry for a London wedding. Below is a slideshow of some of my London wedding photography highlights.
"Thank you sooooo much Amy B! The photos are amazing, so colourful and everyone looks so happy, its exactly what we wanted and more! Perhaps even more importantly you were just the loveliest person to have with us on the day, it was like having another friend there and it genuinely seemed like you were having a great time. THANK YOU!"
"We can not fault Amy at all - she is the absolute dream. I found Amy after a quick search and knew straight away she was the photographer for us. Booking was easy with catch-ups along the way to see how the wedding plans are going and also to discuss the big day. Amy felt like part of the wedding party, she was amazing and everyone loved her! My advice would be to let Amy do her thing cause she is brilliant and knows what's best."
What was it like being a Garden Museum wedding photographer for the day? Simple answer, pretty incredible. Olivia and Sam planned an awesome wedding day at The Garden Museum and it was such a treat to be able to photograph it all for them. The Garden Museum sits in an abandoned church on the banks of the River Thames. It oozes character and provides the most stunning backdrop for a wedding day. Drinks reception in the knot garden, wedding breakfast in the main church hall and a whole host of hots spots for wedding photography, The Garden Museum has got to be one of my all time favourite London wedding venues.
My style of creative wedding photography thrives off city centre, urban weddings. I love playing with colour and textures and am always seeking to offer something a little more 'alternative' when it comes to composition and framing (after I've got the 'safe stuff' first of course!). The Loft Studios (above) is another excellent London wedding venue and if you're wanting to inject a real urban vibe into your wedding day then The Loft Studios are definitely worth a look. Islington Metal Works is another cool and funky London wedding venue with a similar vibe to Loft Studios. I have had the amazing pleaseure of shooting a few weddings at Trinity Buoy Wharf over the years and everytime I visit I see something new. Set right on the banks of the River Thames and situated at the heart of London's docklands, Trinity Buoy Wharf is a fabulous London wedding venue. I hope to be doing some more creative London wedding photography there soon.
