At the end of March Mr.B whisked me away to Agadir in Morocco and it was absolutely blissful. It was somewhere I had always wanted to go and so what a treat it was to leave the miserable British March weather behind for a whole week and indulge in some sun, sea and tagines. I decided to go back to basics on the photography front and replaced my SLR for a Pentax. So with three rolls of film and two lenses in hand I was all set to snap away in a more ‘old school’ way. Last week I travelled to the picturesque Avins Farm in Ardingly to take part in my first ever ‘styled shoot’. After having spotted the ‘Styled Shoots’ page on Facebook I immediately put my name down and couldn’t wait for the date to arrive. There was an amazing team of people working hard behind the scenes to ensure everything ran like clockwork (all credits will be listed soon) and it was fabulous to learn one or two handy hints from the photography guru’s that are Lisa Devlin and Joanna Brown. Two different scenes were set up for us and after Lisa and Jo had ‘done their thing’ it was over to us to direct and pose the models. I was paired with the the lovely Laura from Cherry Red Photography and together we worked hard to approach each scene from a slightly different angle.
